  1. This one made think of another situation. When I was a kid, two of my favorite things that went together, were parades and marching bands. There were a lot of parades in Helena, Montana…I lived there when I was 4 and 5…and I just loved, loved, loved the parades, because of the bass drums. I remember feeling ready to burst each time a marching band approached, because slowly, as the bass drum got closer and closer…I could feel it in my chest, and as they passed right in front of me, the drum beats were so intense, I could feel it more than my own heartbeat. It was like music was inside me waiting to burst out. When I was a kid, two of my favorite things that went together, were parades and marching bands. That is what this tune is like…very deep tones, so deep that if I had better speakers and could turn it up, that same thing would happen inside my chest. It’s a bit of magic I guess. I didn’t really think of this one in my brain, just kind of felt it with the physical body…..Tiffinie Greer
